Fitness

In addition to the selection of cultural and wellness activities on offer (Thai Boxing, Yoga and more), the gym features equipment that ranges from free weights to a variety of exercise machines, enhanced by satellite TV screens with access to international news, sports and entertainment channels. The facility is open 7am until 9pm and the experienced gym instructors are available for assistance.

Khun Kemarn Kasem (27 years) – Active Thai boxing since 8 years of age in his home town. Continued studies for physical science degree at Taksin University in Songkhla. For the last 19 years he has participated in more than 40 Thai boxing competitions. Khun Kemarn also practices Taekwondo and competes for the Taekwondo Championship Title of the southern Thailand. He has been working as fitness instructor for 4 years. Kemarn is available from 19:00-21:00 hrs. daily and all day on Fridays and Saturdays.
 
Khun Sarawut “Woody” Dungsrikaew (29 years) – Active Thai boxing since 17 years of age in the Sport & Health College in Krabi Province. For the last 11 years he has participated in over 50 Thai boxing competitions. He has studied sport for 4 years and worked as fitness instructor for 5 years in Pattaya and Phuket. Woody is available from 8:00-10:00 hrs. daily.
 
Khun Jay (33 years) – Extensive experience as fitness instructor and personal trainer in a 5 star hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka for over 10 years. He then was introduced to yoga by a master. It transformed him in a way that he believes now that fitness is the path to healthiness but yoga is the path to happiness. He studied yoga and graduated with a diploma of Yoga education from the Yoga Vidya Gurugul University in Nasik, India. Jay is available from 9:00-13:00 hrs. (Monday-Friday).
